Huge place 5 acres. Very well kept. Chairs for two leggeds. Plenty of room to run, roam, play for four leggeds. So happy we stopped! Will be back. Thank you!

My mastiff and I visit dog parks all over the country. This dog park in Ripon is among our favorite. The property is approx. 5 acres, and I would estimate the fenced sections are 3.5 of that. The main section is approx. 3/4 of a mile walk around the perimeter, and I would guess the smaller section is a between a 1/4 and a 1/2 acre in size. Well maintained all year long with the city of Ripon doing the mowing and the snow plowing. Overall, mostly very friendly people.

I was excited to find a dog park close to home. I always took my small dog for 5 years to a dog park where we previously lived and my dog loved running around with other dogs and people. Both the big dog area and small dog area were separate but same size. The Ripon park has a very small area for small dogs that seems to be a holding area for large dogs who don't get along with other big dogs. I don't feel safe or very welcome there so am having to find other places to travel to. Any reason the park can't give the small dogs a larger space? Just a newcomer....

Great place to take our yellow lab...plenty of room to run and well kept. He starts whining halfway there because he is so excited to go!!!
