Dog Friendly Beaches Near Halecrest, Costa Mesa, CA, US

The paved trails at Huntington State Beach in Huntington, CA are dog friendly. Fido can't join you on the sand at this popular beach, but the bike paths and trails are pet-friendly and will allow you and Fido to get those daily steps in! The beach itself is 121 acres and the main dog-friendly path stretches along a portion of this with a view of the sea in the distance. Dogs who long to feel the sand under their paws can try out Huntington Dog Beach, located just down the road.

Leashed dogs are allowed before 10:00 am and after 4:30 pm on oceanfront beaches of Newport Beach, CA. On bay-front beaches, leashed dogs are allowed before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm. The person in control of the dog must have in his or her possession, an implement or device capable of removing any feces deposited by the animal. Please note dogs are not permitted on the piers.
