Visit the pet-friendly Corson's Inlet State Park in Ocean City, NJ. This popular spot has lots of recreational opportunities for dogs and their owners, including hiking, fishing, crabbing, boating and sunbathing. Pups are not allowed on the beaches at Corson's Inlet and unfortunately, they are not allowed from April 1st to September 15th in any area of the park. Dogs must be on a leash for the duration of their visit and all mess should be cleaned up after them.

Bring Fido to the pet-friendly Wharton State Forest in Hammonton, NJ. There are a number of hiking trails around the park that you and your leashed pooch can explore together, such as sections of the Batona Trail, a 50-mile trail that connects three different state forests. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the beach.

Visit the pet-friendly Bass River State Forest in Tuckerton, NJ. This area was the first forest designated for public recreation back in 1905.
