The park is also home to The Theatre in the Park, Shawnee Mission Park Beach, and Shawnee Mission Park Marina. Starting right before Shelter 9 in a large wooded area on the east side of the lake, you will find the trailhead for the WyCo Single Track Trail. From the trailhead there are several options for trails, all interconnect with each other at points along the way and eventually loop back to the beginning.
