The pet-friendly park goes down in a gully, and at the bottom there is a bridge where many folks let their dogs off leash to play in the creek. The current is strong, so please use caution. This is not your typical fenced in dog park. It is like hiking in the wilderness. There are no bathrooms or watering areas so be sure to bring your own. There are a number of bag and waste stations. Please be aware that the hike back up and out is not as easy.

Visitors can also access the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Great Western Trail from this path.

Liberty, UT's North Fork Park is pet-friendly. This 2600-acre camping and outdoor gem located in Liberty, Utah on the eastern side of the Wasatch Mountain Range. Please note that the park is closed from November 1st until April 1st.

Katie's Dog Park in Pocatello, ID is a half-acre space for Fido to play off leash. The park features two separate play areas, one for large, active and energetic dogs and another for smaller or leisurely dogs. Amenities include two water fountains, benches and a shade pergola. The water fountain is not in use during the winter months, so dog owners will need to bring along water for Fido.
