Devils Punchbowl Trail is an easy, 1.2 mile hike in Devils Punchbowl Natural Area that will take about 1 hour to complete with Fido. This trail where the San Andreas Fault comes together with the Pinyon and Punchbowl Faults; the result is some spectacular land formations. Take in Pleasant View Ridge and if you look to the south you will see the San Gabriel Mountains. The faults have also formed beautiful rock formations at some interesting angles.

Forrest E. Hull Park is a dog-friendly park in Lancaster, CA. There are grassy fields to explore on leash, a paved and lighted walking trail, and a fenced off-leash dog park.

Dogs are allowed at the picnic areas and campgrounds of Saddleback Butte State Park, but are prohibited from using any of the trails in the area. Fido can join you in the specified areas as long as they are on a leash under six feet. With an elevation of 3,651 feet, the park features a granite mountaintop that overlooks Antelope Valley below. Saddleback Butte is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.

This is an unmarked trail in Arcadia, CA, located below the Mount Baden-Powell/PCT path at the closed road. The trail follows an old mining road to the mine.

Although Icehouse Canyon is a heavily trafficked area, the trail is so difficult once you get on your way you will be surrounded by other outdoor lovers. The Canyon is popular for its easy access to beautiful streams, ruins, and forests. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, snowshoeing, and backpacking and is best used from May until November.

Mount Baden-Powell Trail is a difficult, 9 mile hike in Angeles National Forest that will take about 5 hours to complete with Fido. This hike will take you above the smog and starts out at Dawson Saddle and an elevation of 7900 feet. You may choose to start from a couple of trailheads that will meet up at the ridge before too long.

Devils Chair Trail is a moderately easy, 9.1 mile hike in the Devils Punchbowl Natural Area that will take about 3 hours to complete with Fido.
