Off-Leash Dog Parks in Aurora, ON

Sherwood Park features a large playground, wading pools, walking trails, picnic tables, and an off-leash dog park. Leashed dogs are also welcome to join their humans throughout many of the park's other areas beyond the dog park.

The popular Sunnybrook Park offers many amenities for dogs to enjoy with their humans, including an off-leash dog park below the Sunnybrook Hospital, on the west side of the West Don River. Leashed pets are also welcome throughout most of the areas of the remainder of the park.

Thomson Memorial Park features three fully-fenced dog parks--one for large dogs, one for small dogs, and one for shy dogs. There is plenty of parking and a couple paved paths through the park.

This lovely and expansive leash-free park offers many amenities including walking trails. Visitors to the park must follow the rules posted at each of the three double-gated entrances. Access to the park is off Don River Boulevard from Sheppard Avenue West.

This off-leash park is fully fenced and offers benches, garbage cans, and a small trail.

The area, a fenced 3/4 hectare site, is located in Ward 4 on Town-owned open space lands south of Tower Hill Road and just west of Yonge Street. It is contained by a 1.5 m tall chain link fence with a separate small dog area and a double-gated entry and exit area. The area is also located on the Town’s trail system to maximize its accessibility and the site will not impact any designated sensitive environmental areas.

Cornell Community Dog Park is a fully-fenced and off-leash dog park in Markham, ON. It offers two separate areas; one for large dogs and one for small. Evening play time is lit by solar-powered flood lights and picnic tables are available for you to relax while keeping an eye on your pup. Be sure to bring your own waste bags and clean up after your dog.

Phyllis Rawlinson Off-Leash Area is a fenced in 1-hectare site located in Ward 3 within Phyllis Rawlinson Park just north of Leslie Street and 19th Avenue. It is contained by a 1.5m galvanized wired fence with cedar timber posts. The site features a separate small dog area, double gated entrance, an upgraded access path to meet accessibility standards, and onsite parking and bathroom facilities.

Georgina Leash Free Dog Park is pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome to play in this fenced area and on the trails that wind around the park. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind and to keep an eye on their pups while they play.

RougeView Dog Park is an-off-leash dog park next to Derby Lake in Stouffville, ON. Bring Fido out for a day of play, exercise and socialization! There is one section for large dogs and another for small, both offering a secure, double-gated entry to de-leash safely. Be sure to bring your own waste bags and keep dogs leashed while walking around the lake.

There is a fenced dog park in the northwest section of the park. Woburn Park is located just east of Bathurst off of Cranbrooke Drive.

Fido is invited to play at Grand Haven Dog Park in Michigan. There are two fenced-in areas, one for small and one for large dogs for your furry friend to run around. This off-leash facility is located to the left of East Grand River Park.

Miller Avenue Off-Leash Dog Park is open 24 hours a day, and welcomes dogs and people of all kinds (though puppies under four months are prohibited for vaccination reasons). The facility is fenced and handicapped-accessible, and offers tables, water, and bag dispensers for collecting animal waste. The Miller Avenue Off-Leash Dog Park is located at Miller Avenue and Rodick Road in Markham.
