Barktoberfest

Upper Macungie Township is announcing that our first annual Barktoberfest is in the planning! Since our Dog Park on Rt 100 was such a huge success we have decided to incorporate these people-loving, devoted four legged animals into our next big event! Featuring dogs (and owners) in costume, the main show is a High Flying K-9 Act with 6 top level canines and 2 world finalist handlers, a pet parade, costume contest, best trick contest , Kiddy Korner (Bounce House, Face-painting and games), Treat Street, lots of food, a great DJ and lots of vendors! We also will be looking for all kind of Pet-related vendors and since it's a Free Community Event, we need Sponsors too! We are also going to recognize the two girl scouts whose vision brought the Dog Park into fruition! Come meet Anna Colanduoni & Kristen Hickey and thank them for a job well done!
