City of South Pasadena's Doggy Day with Cats Too!!

On Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, the City of South Pasadena is hosting its seventh annual “Doggy Day with Cats Too” event in scenic Garfield Park. The event will encourage dog & cat owners and interested residents to gain awareness about animal resources in their extended community. It is also an opportunity for South Pasadena residents and neighbors to show appreciation for the dogs & cats in their lives. Hosted by the Recreation Division of the Community Services Department, the event will feature a variety of vendors and adoption agencies, as well as food and fun events for dogs, cats, & families. Disc Dogs will be returning with fun live entertainment and we will feature a Dalmatian bouncer for the kids! There will also be a photo “kissing booth” to take pictures with our furry loved ones. We’ll have a small Doggy Fun Zone, a dog parade, costume contest and peanut butter licking contest. We will also have a short safe muzzling demo, and a presentation by the South Pasadena Police Department K-9 unit. We are also accepting donations for a local animal shelter (please call for a list of acceptable or needed items). Bring the whole family and stop by for some fun at Doggy Day!!!
