Description
This is a combined CPR & First Aid for Your Pets and Hiking and Walking with your dog course. Students will learn 3 types of CPR, restraint & muzzling, rescue breathing, choking management, shock management, bleeding protocols, snake bite, insect bites & stings, pet first aid kit contents, priorities of care, primary pet assessment, snout-to-tail wellness assessment, injury assessment, heat & cold injuries, assessing a pet’s vitals and more. The course will also educate the pet owner about pet emergencies and dangers that exist while hiking with your dog. Whether you are a hiker, backpacker, dog walker or just like to take your dog for a walk, this presentation is for you. You will learn the top 6 situations you may come across out on the trail and how to prevent or manage each situation if encountered.
