Basic Dog Obedience Class

CLASS STARTS Tuesday May 26 at 6 pm and runs 7 weeks. Registration is REQUIRED and you can do so online via the "ticket" link or just go to www.liveandlearndogs.com Dogs of any age can be trained, so if your dog is over 5 months of age and whether you graduated from a Puppy Class or you are just getting started with training, then this all-ages basic class is the course for you. Maybe your dog already knows a few things, maybe he doesn’t. Either way, we will work together in this class to make sure that your dog is challenged at the appropriate level. We address some BIG issues like jumping on counters (and people), stealing socks and shredding shoes, bolting out of the front door, and more. We will cover sit, down, wait, stay, come when called, walk nicely on leash, “leave that alone,” “spit that out,” and more. Does your dog already know how to lie down when you ask him to? Can he lie down and stay there while you walk away, open the front door, and bring in the mail? Can he hold himself in position until you tell him it’s OK to get up no matter what the distraction?
