5th Annual Peace-4-Paws Pet Friendly 5K Run/Walk & 1-Mile Kid’s Fun Run:BDAL is committed to providing a safe haven for neglected, abused & abandoned animals. In the past 8 years, BDAL has taken in, cared for and found homes for more than 3,000 animals. Events like Peace-4-Paws fund that mission. Our pet-friendly, family-focused event is well-managed and growing in popularity each year. In 2014, more than 250 individuals participated as volunteers, spectators, runners or walkers.
The out-and-back course is held on the lightly graveled Shippensburg Rail Trail. Registration and awards are held at the pavilion at the Shippensburg Township Park. AWARDS: Overall male & female, Top 2 masters male & female, TOP MALE & FEMALE DOG/RUNNER TEAMS Top 2 age group male & female: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
