SWMHC First Annual K9 Olympics

The Southwest Michigan Husky Club is a 501(c)(3) whose focus is on raising funds for educational and material support of individuals and organizations engaged in the rescue, care and placement of abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs in need. Our particular focus is on dogs of the husky breed. As a non-profit founded and based in Michigan, funds are raised solely through private donations and through fundraising campaigns by the organization! All donations are 100% tax deductible! On Oct. 24, 2015, we are hosting the 2015 SWMHC K9 Olympics at Meadow Run Dog Park in Oshtemo, MI. The event will host fun games and events for dog owners and their dogs. Prizes will be awarded for each event, as well as an overall winner for the day! We will also have a costume contest. We are encouraging vendors to set up a booth as well inside the park for patrons to purchase fun and education pet supplies! Entry Fees for the Park & Event: Adults and children age 13+ - $10 each (includes 1 dog per adult) Children ages 12 and under are FREE! Dogs must be leashed even in the park as to not disturb the events and games going on all over the park!
