DC PAWS Rescue an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Washington, D.C., is holding an adoption event at Felix and Oscar Natural Pet Food Store (Next to Outback Steakhouse and The Vet Referral Center in the Backlick Shopping Center) . (703) 866-0222 We are committed to rescuing homeless animals from high-kill animal control facilities that are often under-resourced and under-funded. As a foster-based rescue, we do not operate a shelter where rescued animals are housed. We rely on foster homes and donated boarding space for housing until each dog or cat is adopted into its forever home.
Please come and meet and greet our dogs and cats who are looking for their "forever" home. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the dog or cat you are interested in, about our adoption process, fostering, volunteering or donating.
