“Beggin’ Bacon Bash,” a free event on Saturday, September 4 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) at the Blue Ash Recreation Center is a celebration of International Bacon Day. Bring the family to experience the bacon event of the year, where you can watch exclusive cooking demos by celebrity chef and bacon enthusiast, Kevin Gillespie, a finalist on last season’s “Top Chef” and compete in a bacon eating contest and weave through a bacon maze with your beloved pooch.
Bring your dog out and be a part of history, as the Guinness World Record for the Loudest Bark will be attempted. There will be plenty of bacon to go around, cooked up fresh and crispy by professional grill masters, and the Purina Incredible Dog Team will be demonstrating amazing canine athletics throughout the day.
