Description
This is our second annual dog festival! We named our festival after Greenville's female gun shooter Annie Oakley's dog, Dave who performed tricks in Annie's shows. We hold our dog festival on Miss Oakley's Garst Museum lawn in Greenville.
We are starting our festival with a one mile dog walk through Greenville City Park. We'll have Flyball and Disc demos, K-9 Unit Demos, dog games, contests and awards, food vendors, wiener dog races, agility courses, microchipping, vets, groomers, boarders, rescue dogs for adoption, children's fingerprinting, childrens's face painting, caricature artists, moon bounces, and children's games. Raffle drawings and ending with a "Blessing of the Animals". It's free to the public and just a one time fee of $10.00 for dogs to participate in all of the games and walk.
We are nonprofit and the money goes to the Darke County Animal Shelter & Humane Society.
Thankyou,
Festival Director
