Description
Shelter Training is for those who actually work with a non-profit and with the dogs. It is a way to teach behavioral handling by all humans so that dogs can behaviorally improve in a short time and become fostered or adoptable or manageable while under the shelter/rescue's care. It makes the handling of all dogs easier by the non-profit and gives a good assessment tool to the non-profit and improves individuals’ abilities to handle a wide variety of dogs.
Non-Louisa Humane Society volunteers and Non-Louisa County Animal Shelter staff are welcomed to attend training clinic. NO DOG TRAINERS ARE ALLOWED TO AUDIT – trainers must be full participants on Saturday. Only rescue volunteers from other humane groups and shelter staff may attend the Sunday hands-on Clinic
