Outdoor Group Street Safety Dog Training Class Class

On Saturday July 30th 2011, Success Tails and the other Edmonton BPCTE’s (Brad Pattison Certified Trainer Educators) are hosting an outdoor Group Street Safety Class on Whyte Ave at 7:30pm. This class is for clients as well as any people that would like to check out our training. Street Safety Classes are held outdoors to expose the dogs to distractions, and focus on educating owners on how to safely work with their dogs in these environments. Building a strong bond and foundation between owner and dog are key focuses for class. Praise is used to reward the dogs, so no treats are required! When working with the dogs’ umbilical is used, which is hands free training with the leash around the waist. This makes it easy to drink a latte and talk on your cell phone all while walking your dog! Urban agility such as weaving through trees and going over obstacles such as ledges, benches and picnic tables, are incorporated into all classes making it fun for both owners and dogs. Classes are eye catching and exciting for participants and for onlookers as well.
