Pet Appreciation Fair and WALK for the Animals

11th annual Pet Appreciation Fair & WALK for the Animals will be held this year at El Dorado Regional Park in collaboration with Long Beach Animal Care Services and Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine. Bring the whole family out to enjoy this fun filled entertaining, exciting and educational experience. From 9:00 A.M. till 3:00 P.M. there will be live entertainment by Blue Steel, raffles, crafters, exhibitor and vendor booths, demonstrations in agility and Flyball by Muttley Crew. The Disc Dogs will also be providing demonstrations of their high flying skills. The Long Beach Aquarium mobile learning center will be on hand to allow you to get up close and personal with some unusual sea life. Long Beach Animal Care Services will be holding a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic. There will be activities for the children with bounce houses, clowns, face painting and more. Finally, don’t forget to sign Fido up for the pet contests where he can win some fun prizes. You can get even more in to the action by registering at FOLBA.org for our Main Event, a 2K or 5K WALK. The route is a flat easy concrete path that winds through the acres of picturesque parkland and is suitable to all ages and abilities including strollers and the family dogs too.
