Afton State Park Candlelight Walk

This dog-friendly event will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on February 7, 2026 at Afton State Park in Hastings, MN. Admission is free to attend, but a vehicle permit is required for all motor vehicles entering the park.

Description
Leashed dogs are welcome to join you on a 2-mile walk along the trail, which will be lit with hundreds of candle luminaries. Enjoy bonfires and roasting marshmallows with your furry companion. Ice traction devices are recommended. The vehicle permit costs $7 per day or $35 for a 12-month permit.
