Aurora Pooch Parade

Mark your calendars for Aurora Pooch Parade! This dog friendly event will be held at 10:00 AM on October 4, 2026 at Wilder Park in Aurora, IL. Sponsored by City of Aurora Community Events Division. Admission is free. Visit Website

Description

Participants are invited to walk their leashed dogs along a designated route, dressed in fun costumes or themed attire, while spectators cheer and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The event includes photo opportunities, vendor booths, and activities for all ages! The first 125 registrants are guaranteed a spot in the parade and will have the chance to compete for titles including Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Costume, Twinsies (Owner & Dog), Most Energetic, and Fan Favorite.
