St. Johnsbury Pet Parade

This long-running community tradition celebrates pets of all kinds and the people who love them. All animals—from dogs and cats to farm animals and other pets—are welcome to join the fun! Participants can parade their animals along Main Street before gathering for a day of festivities that includes food vendors, games, crafts, pet portraits, and family-friendly activities. The event also features costume and creativity competitions with prizes, a blessing of the animals, and opportunities to meet members of the local pet services community.
