"Save a Horse... Let the Dachsies Run! Mark your calendars for Dachshund Rescue of Houston’s Wild West Wienerfest! Saturday, June 2, 2012 11 am to 4 pm FREE Admission & FREE Parking Come out and join Dachshund Rescue of Houston for an afternoon of fun and excitement! Watch the wiener dog races, check out a variety of vendors & their wares, enjoy concessions, musical entertainment and of course, the ever popular... Dachsie Kissing Booth! RACE REGISTRATION: Only $25 per dog ~ Dachshunds only! Races begin at noon and last until 4:00 pm Many of your favorite DRoH Foster Dachs, Adopted Alumni and Volunteers will be on hand to Meet & Greet the crowd! All dogs are welcome to attend, but PLEASE have your pups on a leash for their safety! If you're looking to add a new member to your pack or if you’ve ever considered fostering a Dachshund-in-need, you won’t want to miss this annual event!
