Advanced Dog Ownership

Every month FIDO Brooklyn and Brooklyn Bark team up to bring the most interesting and most asked questions in that animal world. These "seminars" are more than "the basics" of dog owning. They cover topics designed to enrich the relationship between canines and their human companions. "Your Dog is Smart; Now it's Your Turn" is presented on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm at the Ethical Culture Society, 53 Prospect Park West, 11215. Seminars are co-produced and co-hosted by FIDO in Prospect Park and Brooklyn Bark, dog walking & pet sitting services. Each seminar presents a panels of experts in each specific topic. Attendees have an opportunity to listen to these experts, ask questions and then mingle for some one-on-one time with not only the animal experts, but other animal enthusiast over coffee and cookies. These events have been lots of fun and have been growing in popularity. Raffles and other fun fundraising often occurs at each seminar to help raise money for local animal rescue.
