Dog Events Near TPA Airport

Bring your pets, either on leash or in a carrier, to gather under the oaks on the church grounds as each animal receives a blessing. All people and animals are welcome.

Leashed dogs are welcome to celebrate at this annual event! Guests can enjoy traditional German beer, bratwurst, schnitzel, live music, dancing, polka bands, lederhosen, and traditional games like stein-hoisting and keg stacking. It’s a family- and dog-friendly fall festival where visitors can compete, celebrate, and enjoy authentic German food, drinks, and entertainment! The hours for the festival are Friday from 4 PM until 11 PM, Saturday from 11 AM until 11 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM until 6 PM.

This dog-friendly Halloween pet parade invites pets of all kinds to show off their creative costumes and join a festive neighborhood celebration. Guests can enjoy a costume contest with multiple categories, prizes, adoptable pets and giveaways. The parade will commence at St. John’s Tampa (906 S Orleans Ave, Tampa, FL 33606) and end at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church (1309 W. Swann Avenue).

Bring your dog and join the group for a weekly pack walk at Epps Park! This welcoming, dog-centered meetup is a chance for pet parents to move, mingle, and build connections while their pups walk and socialize together.
