Dog Events in Altamonte Springs, FL

This dog-friendly Halloween 5K welcomes runners and walkers with or without their dogs. Participants receive a T-shirt, finisher medal, doggie charm, chip-timed race bib, live results and finish-line treats for both humans and dogs.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this Oktoberfest celebration! There will be a free bounce park, community performances, a beer garden and much more. Don't forget to register your Dachshund or Wiener Dog Wannabe in the Dachshund Races!

Avalon Park's Oktoberfest event will once again feature the crowd favorite Dachshund races! Only 48 registered Dachshunds and 12 Wanna-Be spots will be available for the Bier Stein Wiener Walk Race (a fun game where all breeds can play), taking place before the Dachshund Semi-Finals. There will also be a Hot Dog Dunk contest!

Barktoberfest is Orange County Animal Services’ rescue appreciation event that serves to celebrate the partnership between OCAS and the rescue community. The event will feature dozens of local pet rescue groups with a variety of pets available for adoption, including different breeds, sizes and ages. Bring Fido to this annual craft beer and canine festival that will feature 30 different craft beers for sampling, dog activities and demos, vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and more. General admission is free, but beer punch cards must be purchased for the craft beer samples (ages 21 and over only).
