Dogs are welcome every weekend at the St. Louis Renaissance Festival, but this special weekend is themed just for them! Enjoy costume contests, dog races, trick competitions, keg tosses, stein holding and live entertainment. Please visit their website for rules, deals and discounts. Your leashed pup is welcome to accompany you at this annual fall festival on the riverfront! Celebrate German traditions with Oktoberfest brews, a variety of food trucks, local vendors, live music and activities. Festival hours are Friday from 5 PM until 11 PM, Saturday from 12 PM until 11 PM, and on Sunday from 11 AM until 5 PM.

Leashed dogs are welcome to run or walk with you on this scenic 5K trail through pastures and woodlands around Case Creek Valley. Participants will receive a custom T-shirt, a finisher dog tag, a custom race bib, and a delicious treat at the end. Hydration stations for people and pups will be available.

This family-friendly event features exciting Dachshund races, tasty food, kids’ activities, and local vendor booths with unique finds. Only Dachshunds participating in the Wiener Takes All race can attend the event. A rabies vaccination certificate is required to participate. Please note that dogs are only permitted at the festival on Sunday from 11 AM-5 PM.

Dress up Fido and parade down historic Second Street in style! Then, head over to the Vendor Fair from 10:30 AM-12 PM and check out local pet-related shops and information booths. The parade travels through the Historic Frenchtown Neighborhood and ends at Clark Street and Main Street.

This beloved fall tradition is one of northern Illinois’ largest and longest-running festivals, drawing over 85,000 visitors each year. While pets are more than welcome to attend, keep in mind that not all businesses permit dogs inside. Be sure to ask before entering with Fido. The weekend will feature over 375 vendors offering crafts, antiques and food. On Sunday, the famous Burgoo Stew is served starting at 9 AM.

Leashed dogs are invited to pose with the whole family alongside Santa! There'll also be silent auction items, a bake sale, merchandise for sale and more.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 8 AM and the race begins at 9 AM.
