Entry times will be based on your pup's size with dogs under 40 lbs welcome from 10 AM until 11 AM or from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM. Larger dogs over 60 lbs can swim from 11:15 AM until 12:15 PM, or from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM. Only the dogs will be allowed in the pool, but owners may wade up to their ankles. Cleveland Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races The Cleveland Oktoberfest hosts Wiener Dog Races as part of the festival! The event will include heats for adult Dachshunds (1-8 years old) as well as for puppies (8 weeks to 1 year) and seniors (8 years and older). The adults run 40 feet, while puppies and seniors run 25 feet (though a few just run back to their owners). Four dogs will race in each heat.
