This dog-friendly event invites Knoxville-area pups and their people to enjoy a day of swimming and outdoor fun. Dogs can take a dip in a large pool, splash in a separate shallow pool for smaller breeds and less confident swimmers, or play on a grassy area. Guests can also enjoy food trucks, vendors and dog-themed cocktails while their pups have fun!

An international disc-dog competition where top canine athletes compete in distance, accuracy, and freestyle disciplines at Coolidge Park. Spectators are welcome and attendees may bring leashed dogs during the event weekend.

Weather permitting, leashed dogs are welcome each Thursday to enjoy an evening of live music with the beautiful background of the Toccoa River. Picnic tables are available, and there's a grassy lawn where visitors are welcome to set up their own blankets or lawn chairs.

Each ticket is valid for one dog and one human. Dogs are permitted off leash only in designated areas and must be on a non-retractable leash in all other areas. Participants will walk, jog or run along the scenic, hilly course that winds through the 230-acre property, offering glimpses of retired research chimpanzees in their forested habitats. Hosted by the Humane Educational Society, attendees are invited to bring their leashed dogs to socialize while supporting HES. Oddstory will donate $1 to HES for every pint sold during the event. Guests will find adoptable pups and information on fostering and volunteering. Please note that is a 21+ establishment.

Every Wednesday night, put your trivia skills to the test at Wagbar Knox, where dogs are welcome to join the fun. Play automated trivia using your phone and follow along on 14 TVs throughout the park, with three separate tournaments and gift cards awarded to the winners.

Each January 8th, Hermitage welcomes visitors free of charge to honor the Battle of New Orleans, the decisive 1815 victory that elevated Andrew Jackson to national fame. The day includes a wreath-laying ceremony at Jackson’s tomb, a keynote address, and access to the estate’s 1,120 acres of history. Leashed dogs are welcome to roam the historic grounds.
