As part of the annual Oktoberfest at The Wharf festival, the crowd favorite Wiener dog races will be hosted by Tommy McFly. Prizes are awarded to the speediest dogs. All breeds are welcome to watch, but only Dachshunds can participate in the race. There will also be an Adoptable Dog Parade between the Dachshund races.

Bring Fido to a dog-only pool party featuring swimming, fetching and playtime! The event also includes vendors and adoption information. Dogs must be friendly, sociable, and current on vaccinations, and owners are asked to clean up after their pets. Children under 16 aren't permitted unless closely supervised, and humans aren't allowed in the pool.

This scenic walk and family-friendly celebration features a canine costume contest, agility course, adoptable dogs, live music, food trucks, games, dozens of vendors, and a beer garden with Dock Street Brewing. More than just a fun day out, the event raises critical funds each year to support PAWS’ mission of making Philadelphia a no-kill city through rescue, adoption and affordable veterinary care.

Bring your four-legged friend for a splashing good time and a chance to mingle with fellow canine companions. A special session is offered for senior dogs from 12 PM to 1 PM to enjoy a gentler pace. Please note that pups must be friendly towards other dogs and up to date on vaccinations. No humans allowed in the pool.

Don your dirndl or lederhosen, leash up your pup and head to to this fun annual festival! Polka dance by the water and cheer on the speediest Dachshunds in Annual Wiener 500 Dachshund Dash. Take part in a stein hoisting championship and polka dance lessons. Food and drinks are also available for purchase at all Wharf bars and restaurants. Pets are allowed in outdoor spaces. The Wharf will provide water for pets to drink and small pools for pets to splash in.

Support Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland at this dog-friendly fundraiser featuring food, raffles, a bake sale, a photo booth with Snoopy, and an annual dog costume contest. Guests can enjoy a fun day with fellow dog lovers while helping raise funds for beagles in need.

All pets are invited with their families to attend the 11 AM service. Afterwards, all will be invited to go outside in the churchyard (at the southwest corner of the church) for the Blessing of the Animals. If you’d like to attend the blessing only, please arrive with your pet around 12:15 PM.

Bring your pets in their cutest, spookiest or most creative costumes! The event features treat stations along the parade route, a purple carpet costume contest, a pet pumpkin patch, a basket auction, a pet photo station, and vendors, plus food and wine available for purchase.

Bring your beloved pets to receive a blessing, or, if your pet is shy or difficult to transport, feel free to bring a photo instead. Following the service, outdoor blessings will also be available for neighborhood pets and those more comfortable outside.

Each Tuesday, spend an evening on the outdoor patio with your four-legged friend! Guests can enjoy extended happy hour specials while dogs receive complimentary water and treats in a shaded outdoor setting.

Bring Fido to the spookiest time of the year at the Village! Families can enjoy pumpkin painting, a Halloween parade and games throughout the day. A variety of crafters will sell their wares along the Village’s shell-paved lanes, and there will also be music and food vendors. Guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable goods to the ‘Share the Harvest’ Food Drive. Please ensure dogs are leashed and picked up after, and note that your furry friend isn't permitted inside buildings.

This fun-filled mile beach walk benefits the MMSC, New Jersey’s only authorized rescue, rehab, and release facility for marine mammals and sea turtles. Enjoy a scenic stroll with your dog, meet mascot “Luseal,” shop pet-friendly vendors, listen to lively music, and take home a goodie bag with treats, including a Cupid the Seal bandana! Check-in starts at 9 AM and the walk starts at 10 AM.

The 5K Run is a competitive race and there's a 3K run/walk option for dogs (K9 race) where dogs must be leashed. Participants will run or walk through Harborview Park and along parts of the Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.

There will also be a variety of food and drinks available for purchase, as well as a beer garden. This event celebrates the love the community has for animals, with a ton of fun on the side. Please note that retractable and flexi leashes aren't permitted.

A cheerful, dog-centric homecoming parade hosted by the University of Maryland Police Department features the department's comfort dog, Teddy, leading Terps and their canine companions in a celebratory lap around the mall. Registration is required.

Guests can enjoy a full day of animal-themed fun while supporting the Brandywine Valley SPCA and its lifesaving work for pets in need.

This dog-friendly Halloween pet parade invites costumed pets and their people to strut around the Village Green and compete for prizes, including a $100 Best in Show award. Guests can browse vendors, participate in a fundraising raffle benefiting Atlantic County Canines and capture autumn-themed pet portraits for $15 each.
