Dog Events in Escalon, CA

Known as the largest corgi gathering in “Corgifornia” (and possibly the world) this festive event draws thousands of Corgis and their humans for a day full of fun, races, costume contests, group photos, and corgi-themed games and vendors.

This trail running fundraiser, hosted by the Carson Valley Trails Association (CVTA)., welcomes leashed dogs in the 2K family run/walk portion. The event supports CVTA trail maintenance and takes place at the James Lee Park trailhead. The 2K portion will begin at 9:30 AM and be held on an all-dirt trail.

This dog-friendly family event features a dog costume contest, pet-themed vendors and exhibitors, live demonstrations and fun activities for dogs and their people. Guests can also learn about Hearts 4 Heroes USA, a nonprofit that helps place emotional support dogs with firefighters, EMTs and EMS personnel, and meet some of the canines in training.

This annual event celebrates Poodle enthusiasts and their canine companions. The day's festivities include a morning parade featuring Poodles, Poodle mixes, and their owners, followed by an afternoon of off-leash play at Carmel Beach. Join the City of Tracy for an end-of-season pool party where your furry best friends can make a splash! From 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, the pool will be open for dogs weighing 40 lbs and under. After that, it will open to large breeds until 4:30 PM.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this bi-annual show that features local vendors in a waterfront setting. After the show, grab a bite or a drink from dozens of area restaurants or bars.

Oyster Jams is a recurring outdoor music-and-oysters night hosted in the Shearwater Tavern courtyard at the Carmel Mission Inn that welcomes guests and their dogs. The event features live music and pay-as-you-go oysters, beer, wine and full bar offerings.
