The Great Ape Escape 5K-ish Leashed dogs are welcome at this unique, untimed fun run taking place at the Project Chimps sanctuary! Participants will walk, jog or run along the scenic, hilly course that winds through the 230-acre property, offering glimpses of retired research chimpanzees in their forested habitats. This event provides a rare opportunity to visit the sanctuary, which is not typically open to the public, while supporting the care of over 80 rescued chimps.
