Dog Events in Gilchrist, OR

An afternoon of Halloween fun, including trunk-or-treating, a family-and-pet photo booth, kid crafts, and more.

Celebrate Halloween at the Old Mill District with spooky festivities, performances, trick-or-treating, and a pet costume contest hosted by the Humane Society of Central Oregon. Dogs are welcome to join the fun at this family-friendly event, with plenty of festive activities and photo opportunities throughout Center Plaza.

Dress your furry companion in their most creative, hilarious, spooky or adorable costume to compete for best dressed at Riverhouse Lodge. While pups mingle, owners can enjoy seasonal cocktails, local beers, wine and shareable bites. All attendees will receive a participation prize.

On Friday, watch dogs of all breeds compete in The Joriad™ North American Truffle Dog Championship, an amateur event where only entered dogs are permitted. Saturday and Sunday, join the Truffle Dog Training Seminar to learn scent training and truffle hunting, culminating in a guided hunt where you and Fido can find your own truffles.
