This dog-friendly class teaches hands-on canine acupressure techniques that participants can use to support their dogs’ wellness. The session includes an introduction to acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine, demonstrations of specific points and guided practice locating them on your own dog. No experience is necessary. Participants should bring a towel, yoga mat, dog bed or other comfortable ground covering for themselves and their pup. This class runs alongside the farmers market, so come early and check out everything they have to offer.

This pet-friendly service celebrates animal companions with personal blessings from Pastor Jeff. Guests can meet adoptable dogs from Faith Hope & Love Rescue and bring their own pets for a blessing. Pets must remain leashed or secured in a carrier. Photos of animals unable to attend can also be brought for a blessing.

This annual Wiener Dog races invite pups of all ages to compete in divisions for puppies, juniors, adults, seniors, special-needs dogs and mixed breeds. Dogs race in heats on a 25- to 35-foot track, with winners advancing to semifinals and division champions receiving awards. Dogs must be at least 4 months old. Owners may use treats or favorite toys to encourage their dogs, but cannot touch them while they're racing.

This dog-friendly gala is the Humane Society of Charlotte’s signature fundraising event, bringing guests and their well-behaved pups together for an elegant evening supporting pets and the people who care for them. The event features dinner, drinks, good company and plenty of tail wags!

The whole family, including your four-legged friend, is invited to partake in this annual un-timed fun run! Registration, coffee and donuts will begin at 7:00 AM, with the race stepping off at 8:00 AM. Participants are encouraged to stick around for the post-race gathering featuring local vendors. Walkers with strollers and dogs are asked to start at the back.
