Bring your Dachshund to compete in this exciting race event featuring multiple heats and a chance to earn the title of Connecticut’s fastest wiener dog! Participants are encouraged to bring treats and favorite toys to help cheer on their pups, while spectators can enjoy a fun-filled day supporting a nonprofit that provides holiday gifts to military families in need.

Visitors and leashed dogs are welcome each weekend to watch thrilling flight demonstrations featuring authentic historic aircraft, and enjoy educational exhibits. Bench and bleacher seating are available, and a limited number of camp chair rentals. Concessions are also available for purchase. Please note that the airplanes can be very noisy, and there could be an occasional gunshot or explosion.

The Laconia Pumpkin Festival, formerly the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival, welcomes leashed pups to celebrate the season! Expect thousands of glowing carved pumpkins, including the iconic pumpkin tower, live music (plus laser shows and dancing witches), festive parades for kids and costumed pets, artisan and food vendors, the Pumpkin Express train, games like corn-hole and craft stations, and a beer garden.

Bring your pets for a photo day with Light & Lens Photography! All pets are welcome (please keep them leashed or in carriers). Each guest will receive one free digital file, with extra downloads and 8x10” prints available for just $5 each. Walk-ins are welcome, but reserving your spot online at is recommended!

Grab your sneakers and Fido's leash for a day on the trails. You can enroll in a 5K walk/run or a 1-mile fun run that welcomes all age levels. After the race, enjoy music, vendors, doggy demonstrations, and more at the Health & Fitness Fair. Costumes are encouraged (but not required).

Two- and four-legged friends are invited to attend monthly meetings at the dog park to bring community members together to coordinate volunteers, discuss park updates, and socialize with dogs.

Leashed dogs are welcome the first Friday of every month from May through November when businesses are encouraged to stay open late and the streets come alive with food trucks, live performances, art displays and other activities.

Bring your pup to meet Bluey, Skye and Chase! Enjoy local vendors, fun activities, a photo wall and giveaways, plus a chance to meet adoptable dogs from Hotel for Homeless Dogs. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the fun.

New England Plant Expo presents an exotic plant market to enjoy with your four-legged friend. There'll be a variety of plants as well as botanically themed artisans and crafters. Food trucks are also available on site.

Capture holiday memories with your furry friend to look back on picture-perfect moments. Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes. Two digital image files and a donation to the charity are included in your session fee! You can also purchase prints and additional digital images.
