Bring Fido out and get his picture taken with Santa!

Leashed dogs are welcome at this anniversary celebration that will feature raffles, door prizes, local vendors and rescues, games and activities, tours of the facility, and treats for humans and pups. Please ensure Fido is up-to-date on vaccinations before attending.

This dog-friendly Oktoberfest-style event features local pet vendors, a stein-holding contest, a best-dressed lederhosen contest, plus German-inspired food and beer. Guests can enjoy festive activities while supporting Blue Ridge Humane Society.

Dog Days at Zoo Knoxville allows visitors to explore the zoo with their dogs during this special, ticketed event. Dogs must be at least 4 months old, have current rabies vaccinations, and remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet. Each dog must have a separate ticket and an adult handler age 18 or older. Advance online tickets are required, and capacity is limited.

At select home games, attendees are welcome to bring their pup out for a hockey game with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits! Please ensure your pup is leashed at all times. There will be a dog race at intermission (advance registration required).

This dog-friendly fall celebration features seasonal decorations, autumn-themed activities, festive photo opportunities and family-friendly entertainment. Guests can also explore the shops, restaurants and attractions, some of which welcome Fido.

Leashed dogs are welcome at the annual holiday parade that starts at the intersection of 4th Street NW and 1st Avenue NW. The parade will continue on 1st Avenue NW towards City Hall, turn right on North Center Street, and then right on Main Avenue NW to Union Square. Immediately following the parade, Santa will light the tree on Union Square. Guests can enjoy holiday music, shopping specials and more!

Stroll through a lively holiday market featuring over 35 local artisans, fresh-cut Christmas trees, and warm seasonal treats like hot cocoa and cider. Don’t miss the highlight of the evening, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 PM, for a magical moment to kick off the season!

Bring Fido to this fun, annual event featuring a 1-mile fun run for kids, followed by the 10K walk/run and 5K races. Four-legged pacesetters can run with their owners in either of the races. A turkey and trophy will be awarded to the top male & female in the 5K and 10K.

Take a trot with Fido on Thanksgiving Day through the charming downtown streets! Open to runners, walkers, and even costumed participants and pets. Registration includes a long-sleeve Turkey Trot tee, goody bag, and awards for fastest runners, best costume, and best pet costume.

Festively dressed pups march from the new Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital down the trail to Main Street. The fun wraps up at the Gazebo, where Best Dressed judging begins at 5:45 PM with prizes and treats for all participating pets. Enjoy a cheerful, tail-wagging holiday stroll full of adorable outfits, great photo moments, and plenty of community spirit. The event takes place during the Holiday Hop & Christmas Market!

Turning left again onto Palmer Street at the red light ending at the Highlands Road Intersection. You'll see fire trucks, EMS, police cars, floats, trucks, cars and walkers!

The WIVK Christmas Parade brings holiday spirit to downtown Knoxville with festive floats and community entries celebrating the season. The parade takes place along Gay Street.
