Dog Events in McBee, SC

Dogs are welcome to come swim at the pool for its last day of the season! There will be separate time slots to choose from based on your pup's size upon registration. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required and there's a limit of two dogs per handler. Handlers must be at least 18 years of age. Drinking water will be provided for the pups. Please note that humans are not permitted in the pool.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this beloved gathering of antique and vintage enthusiasts, featuring hundreds of vendors offering everything from primitives and industrial salvage to classic advertising signs, vintage furniture, bottles, bicycles, auto parts, and more. Held in both spring and fall, the festival includes live music, train rides on the Handy Dandy Railroad, a live auction, food vendors, and a lively marketplace atmosphere that’s fun for the whole family.

The session includes an introduction to acupressure and Traditional Chinese Medicine, demonstrations of specific points and guided practice locating them on your own dog. No experience is necessary. This annual Wiener Dog races invite pups of all ages to compete in divisions for puppies, juniors, adults, seniors, special-needs dogs and mixed breeds. Dogs race in heats on a 25- to 35-foot track, with winners advancing to semifinals and division champions receiving awards. Dogs must be at least 4 months old. Owners may use treats or favorite toys to encourage their dogs, but cannot touch them while they're racing.
