Leashed dogs are welcome at this vibrant community celebration with a day full of international cuisine, local vendors, live entertainment, dancing, dog activities and more!

This dog-friendly 5K and walk welcomes runners, walkers and well-behaved dogs of all fitness levels while raising funds for Street Paws, which helps provide food, medical care and loving homes for animals in need. Registration includes an official event T-shirt and raffle entry.

This community festival features a chili cook-off, People’s Choice chili tasting, craft beer, live music, a curated vendor market and a cornhole tournament. Attendees can bring their leashed dogs, sample competing chili recipes, shop local vendors, and enjoy live entertainment!

During the month of October, visit downtown Locust Grove with your leashed pup to enjoy the many scarecrows displayed at this fall community event! Businesses, families, schools, nonprofits, clubs and community groups create and display scarecrows for free. Visitors can enjoy the seasonal displays and participate in People’s Choice voting, while awards recognize the favorite downtown business scarecrow and best traditional scarecrow.

This lively event invites guests to explore local galleries, shops, restaurants, and businesses that stay open late with drinks, snacks, and special offerings, all set to the backdrop of live music in the Signature Squares. Leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun; however, please note that individual businesses set their own pet policies, so it's best to ask before bringing your pup inside.

A beachside fundraising plunge supporting sea turtle rehabilitation at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Participants enter the chilly Atlantic to raise funds for sea turtle rescue and recovery. Dogs are welcome as spectators.
