Dog Events in Pass Christian, MS

Dat Dog Magazine hosts this annual fundraiser benefiting Zeus’ Rescues. Dogs can strut their stuff in a costume contest featuring six categories, including Best Couple, Best Family, Best Group, Best Solo, Best in Show, and Crowd Favorite, with prizes judged by local artists and costume designers. Registration requires a donation of money or pet supplies. A donation drive for rescue dogs and cats runs all day, with photo opportunities and family-friendly fun.

This annual weekend event features spooky flair that celebrates the rich folklore that exists along the bayous of Southeast Louisiana. It showcases live music, cultural activities, children’s activities, Cajun food, the Krewe Ga Rou parade, and so much more. Bring your pup in a costume and enter the pet costume contest on Saturday! All proceeds go to the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center. Please leash and clean up after your pets.

Bring Fido out for a long weekend of music and camping! There will also be craft vendors, nightly bonfires, delicious local food, and yoga and meditation. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please note that most vendors are cash only.

Bring Fido along to kick off the holiday season! The event will have holiday-themed floats with special effects and audio systems, plus, high flying helium balloons and more than a dozen dancing groups and marching bands. Please ensure your pup is well-behaved and remains on a leash. The parade will start from The French Market with an extended route through downtown.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 8 AM and the race begins at 9 AM.

Enjoy over one million twinkling lights on a 2.25-mile driving tour through the park with Fido! A limited number of tickets will be sold per day and time slot. All tickets must be purchased online in advance. Please note that pets are welcome on the driving tour, but aren't permitted on the walking tour and cannot be left in the car without you.

This family- and dog-friendly celebration features local arts and crafts vendors, pecan-based foods, live entertainment, historic demonstrations, and activities for all ages. Visitors can also enter the free pet contest, with categories for Best Costume, Best Trick, and Best in Show!
