Dog Events in Philippi, WV

Dogs are welcome to join this family-friendly fundraising event featuring craft beer, food trucks, live music, raffles, and local vendors at The Bark Market. Guests can enjoy an evening of community fun while supporting the Pawsitive Impact Therapy Team. Pets are only welcome outside on the patio and amphitheater areas, but please note retractable leashes aren't permitted.

Spend a perfect autumn evening with your pup by enjoying live music, delicious food, wine tastings, and scenic sunset views. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket for the lawn or lawn chairs. There will be a food truck on site and guests are also welcome to bring a picnic.

This event features trick-or-treat fun, a costume contest, and fall-themed photos with donations benefiting local animal shelters. Local vendors and shelters will be on site, offering opportunities to support their businesses and causes, along with several raffle baskets up for grabs. The party is free to attend, though donations are encouraged, and fall photos will be available starting at 4:30 PM for a suggested $5–$10 donation.

This annual pet costume party and a pet parade is a community favorite! They'll be collecting donations in exchange for participation of gently used dog and cat toys, blankets, cat litter, pet food, and other pet supplies. A meet and greet will be held from 1 PM until 1:30 PM, and the parade and pet trick or treating starts at 1:30 PM.

Dogs and cats are welcome for pictures with Santa in front of a beautiful backdrop. Please ensure your pets are leashed or crated while visiting. Donations of new or gently used pet items are requested to attend.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM and the race begins at 10:00 AM.
