Dog Events in Slaty Fork, WV

Grab your canine best friend for this dog-centric Oktoberfest event! There will be live music, a Weenie Dog Race, pretzel eating contest, beer steins and more. Annual and monthly memberships, as well as daily passes are available for entry.

Spend a perfect autumn evening with your pup by enjoying live music, delicious food, wine tastings, and scenic sunset views. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket for the lawn or lawn chairs. There will be a food truck on site and guests are also welcome to bring a picnic.

Held over six fall weekends, the celebration blends classic farm charm with festive fun. Explore 10 acres of pumpkins, wander through a 5‑acre corn maze, and embark on hayrides to the patch. Seasonal treats like kettle corn, cider, ice cream, and local beer and wine add to the festive flavors. The event will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 4 PM until 8 PM, and Saturday and Sundays from 10 AM until 5 PM.

Black Dog Salvage has invited guest vendors to set up and sell their wares for the day! Leashed dogs are invited to this fun event featuring a food, live music, art, jewelry, vintage items, plants, baked goods, wine, greenery, and more. All items for sale from guest vendors will be hand-made or upcycled. The Roanoke Valley SPCA will also be on site.
