Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun at this kick-off of the annual Destin Fishing Rodeo with a weekend full of delicious food, fresh seafood, unique art, crafts and local vendors. Enjoy live music on the main stage and exciting specials throughout the event. The festival's hours are Friday from 4 PM until 10 PM, Saturday from 10 AM until 10 PM, and on Sunday from 10 AM until 6 PM.

This dog-friendly community event features contests, vendor booths, Dachshund races, water stations and pet-focused activities for dogs and their people. Dogs must be over six months old and up to date on vaccinations to attend.

On select Thursdays, adults ages 21 and up can enjoy free champagne while shopping with Fido at various retail merchants around the village. Please note that your pup may not be permitted inside all stores, so be sure to ask first before entering. Check-in by the fountain.

In addition, golf carts can be decorated and included in the parade, and after the procession, attendees can meet the giant lantern puppets by the Christmas tree, making it a magical experience for all ages.

Your friendly pup is welcome to join you on the outdoor patio for arts and crafts. In case of bad weather, the event will move indoors. Please keep your dog on a leash, bring a water bowl and waste bags, and ensure your pup is up to date on vaccinations and has tags.

Enjoy a festive light show with your leashed pup every night in December! There will be three dazzling shows on the Village tree and Event Plaza Lawn at 6 PM, 7 PM and 8 PM each night.
