Georgia's First Fourth at Wormsloe State Historic Site Experience history as it comes to life with a reenactment of the Declaration's reading just as it was presented in 1776. Leashed dogs are welcome, but please note that Fido isn't permitted inside buildings. Programs take place at 10 AM and 2 PM. Participants will begin at Sutler’s Row, where you can enlist in the militia and march to the historic tabby ruins at Wormsloe for the Declaration's reading. Guests can enjoy hayrides, games, sunflower photo ops, a photo contest and strolls through a blooming sunflower field at their own pace.
