See Spot Splash Bring Fido out to celebrate the last days of summer at this annual pool party! Harbor Hounds Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a Vendor Scavenger Hunt, dog contests judged by Mayor Mary Barber, raffles, food trucks, live entertainment, and booths from local vendors and nonprofits. See Details
Dog Days of Summer Festival Leash up your dog and come out to see pet-themed vendors, canine contests and games, activities, an animal caricaturist, vegetarian food trucks, a beer garden and more! This event will be held on the 9-acre field behind the shelter. Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly. See Details
Pooch Plunge at the Henry Moses Aquatic Center Bring Fido for swim! Rain or shine, dogs can frolic in the lap and wave pool and float the lazy river. Your entry time is based on registration. Please note that only dogs will be permitted in the water. See Details
Kenmore Oktoberfest Annual Wiener Dog Races The races take place during Kenmore Oktoberfest. Dachshunds are welcome to race in the main event, and mixed breeds are welcome in the Wiener Dog Wannabe Race. Two handlers are required for start and finish lines, and all handlers must be at least 18 years of age. A current rabies vaccination is required for all pups. Kenmore Oktoberfest Kenmore’s Oktoberfest brings Bavarian fun to the Pacific Northwest with a spirited mix of beer gardens, sing-alongs, and live music. Bring Fido to the Annual Wiener Dog Races (on September 20th), savor PNW and German brews, and join in family-friendly games like stein holding and pretzel tossing. It all kicks off with a traditional firkin keg tapping and wraps up with a pop-up market, root beer garden, and festival flair spread all across Kenmore’s Brew Row and public spaces. A Washington State Parks Discover Pass is required at the park. Purchase an annual pass ($35) or one-day pass ($11.50) on site. Dogtoberfest at the Fremont Oktoberfest On the final day of Fremont Oktoberfest, leashed and friendly pups are invited to join the fun! This 21+ event offers beer tasting, stein hoisting, live music, and the vibrant, non-traditional outdoor Oktoberfest atmosphere that defines Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Four-legged guests will be treated to a free doggie bandana, collapsible pet bowl, and waste bags while supplies last. See Details
DOG-O-RAMA A three-day outdoor celebration for dogs and their people featuring disc dog competitions, flyball demos, AKC performance and title testing, costume and trick contests, live music, and a Sunday FIDO Fit Dog Walk. Leashes are required except while participating in specific activities. See Details
Dog Days at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Explore designated dog-friendly paths, meet amazing animals, snap adorable selfies, and share a memorable day at the zoo with your furry companion! All canine guests must be up to date on vaccinations and kept on a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet. Advance dog ticket purchase is required. Steampunk Rendezvous Bring Fido along to this relaxed community‑oriented steampunk gathering that celebrates creativity and camaraderie. Enthusiasts can mingle at casual activities like a potluck barbecue, live music shindig, gear swap for trading or selling curios and costume pieces, and themed group photos with vintage machinery. Dachshund Club of Tri-Cities Oktoberfest This dog-friendly fundraiser celebrates Dachshunds with exciting Wiener Dog races, a costume contest, local vendors, delicious food and more. Bring your leashed pups, family and friends for a fun-filled day supporting local animals in need. Proceeds benefit Pet Over Population Prevention (POPP) and Tumbleweed Cat Rescue. Halloween Pet Parade in Volunteer Park Celebrate the spooky season with Fido at this festive Halloween event! Gather at the Amphitheater at 11:00 AM for the Pet Parade, and register your pet to participate in the Costume Competition. Food trucks and vendors will also be on site. See Details
Issaquah Salmon Days Leashed dogs are welcome to downtown Issaquah for a weekend of live entertainment, a colorful parade, local vendors, food, DockDogs competitions and family-friendly activities.
