Flying New York to Amsterdam with dog as checked baggage

I am plannign n bringing a dog back to UK, but fly it from New York to Amsterdam adn then drive to UK.

I am beign quoted very high prices for teh human ticket with KLM though teh dogs charge is a reasonable 200 Euros.

What other airlines flying that route will take dogs as checked baggage.
