My dog & I needed a room for one night after driving 12hrs for a trip & knowing the next day would be an even longer stint. The lady at the front desk was the sweetest ever & even upgraded us to a suite after pampering my girl with treats & lots of pets. The room was gorgeous & carpet free which I know all pet parents can appreciate (the bed was very comfy too!). Makes such a difference when you're able to bring your best friend along without the hassle. 10/10 recommend!

Cared for motel. The owner hired a great, personable staff and invested in quality upkeep. Delightful stay. Not ornate, just perfect for a traveler.

The bad: As soon as we walked in the room, the smell of a mixture of old Smoke & Floral PineSol hit so strong, my dog tried to walk back out the door. We had to open the window to air out the room. The curtains were halfway hanging off the curtain rod/runner. The floors in the hallways and stairwells were extremely dirty. Looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or swept in a very long time. The good: The desk clerk (young man) was super nice. The bed/sheets seemed clean. Grateful for a place to sleep, where we could also bring our dogs at a reasonable price. We were so very tired and ready to get off the road from long day of travel, we stayed anyways.

They have you sign saying they will always be crated when in the room and never be alone in the room as well as other things. I never crate my dogs and the only way to safely unpack my car is to put the dogs in the room after I take them for a walk. I get that some people are careless with their animals but really? The room smelled like a vets office disinfectant, there is no carpeting which I guess makes it easier to mop. Poor amenities, thin towels and low shower head flow. The pros are good areas of grass to walk the dogs, having a fridge and microwave in the room and proximity to multiple food options.
