Staff was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming to the pets. Our room was clean and very spacious. Parking options were very limited and the hotel does not provide proper information on parking before hand.

This hotel was so beautiful, tall ceilings, delightfully restored architecture throughout. Built in 1906, we were met with a professional, friendly and helpful staff. Had an amazing stay in this heart of Baltimore treasure. Would go back and stay a week.

Positives: no pet fee, good location close to the inner harbor, lovely room and a lovely building. Negatives: it’s a bit of a sketchy area so the secure valet parking is necessary, but it’s $50/night. The hotel had a lot of issues with key card readers and only one elevator in operation. Some staff were great but others were disinterested.

We have three 60 pound Labrador retrievers and we all checked in together. They were very welcoming, and the hotel is beautiful. The only slight issue is that the parking is either valet, or in a parking garage, so not that convenient for carrying things into the hotel.

First we couldn’t believe the ambiance for the price we paid to stay. From the valet, check in/check out, to the room we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay. Our room was a good size for two adults and two large dogs. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was convenient to walk to the harbor and many local restaurants. Our dogs were treated like royalty too. We are looking forward to going back again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Hotel Monaco Inner Harbor, Baltimore MD is going straight onto our must-stay list. We were on our way to our home in Maine from a trip to Charleston SC and needed a dog-friendly hotel. We really lucked out by picking this wonderful hotel. Located in a central location in Baltimore Inner Harbor’s Downtown area, this couldn’t have been more convenient. The building is beautiful and historic, having been built originally as the HQ for B & O Railways. All the staff we interacted with were really helpful and friendly. Our room was luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean with high quality bedding and furnishings.

The hotel staff is really great. Hotel is super dog friendly. But the hotel is soooo tired. Very dated. We were surprised that a Kimpton would be so worn down.

For our trip we were traveling with 3 dogs. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The building itself is absolutely beautiful! Our room was spacious and clean. My husband and son walked for about 15 minutes to Camden Yard to catch a game. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this Kimpton for one night with our large lab puppy. We appreciated them accepting a 60 pound dog and with no pet fee!! The room was spacious and our puppy loved the smooth tile in the swanky bathroom! The one downside is that it’s not quick to get outdoors to a spot for our puppy to pee - we needed to take the elevator down from the 12th floor, and then walk about the equivalent of two blocks to a grassy area. Just a fact of city life perhaps, but if our pup was younger or had trouble holding it, I think that would have been a real struggle. Otherwise, it was a good experience with our dog.

This place could be great but felt very run down. The room was clean but items in the room felt worn and tattered. Also, at some point Covid cannot be an excuse for being short staffed.

This hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in the area. The room we received was spacious but not clean and new. There were no dog beds, bowls or treats. They said they didn’t offer that. The hotel is historic and has a beautiful lobby and restaurant but dogs weren’t welcome.

Our puppy was very welcome, we received a room upgrade on arrival, and all slept comfortably. I love the history of the beautiful old building. The dog park was adequate and a 2 block walk.

The hotel was great. Short walk to the pet area, and also a short walk to the Inner Harbor. The only reason I didn't give it 5 bones is because the hotel advertises that they provide a VIP amenity for the pets (dogs in this case), but we received nothing. I am not looking for free stuff, but if you are going to advertise something, you should deliver on it.

We stayed at the Kimpton Hotel for a night and it was great!! Our dog Marley had a great time hanging out on all of the couches and running around in the lobby area. They put us on a dog friendly floor which I was weary would be loud and dirty but everything was very clean and you could barley hear the other dogs bark through our walls. The room was very spacious and they had a common area where they hosted a social I could bring my dog to. My boyfriend and I were worried that when traveling with my dog we would have to sacrifice quality and comfort but that was not the case here. Our room had plenty of space for my little guy to run around and play. The staff was also very unbothered, friendly and accepting of him off his leash. It was also walking distance to the Inner Harbor and we found all day parking just up the block for $10 ($32 less than the hotel price). Also, the hotel restaurant has great food. Would def recommend if your looking for a lux stay with your furry friend.

From doormen to concierge to restaurant, all staff were amazing! Cheerful, helpful and efficient. We were promptly provided with two dog beds as we requested to keep our big girls happy. Very centrally located to visit Landmarks, museums and the National Aquarium. Small dog run two blocks away but our girls preferred the less trafficked Federal plaza we could see from our room across the street. Only 4 bones because the room was showing signs of wear.

The hotel staff was very nice and friendly but the hotel location for dog walking wasn’t great. There was a “dog park” that consisted of a fenced in mostly dirt narrow strip a few blocks away from hotel. Less than desirable. The dog floor is in the 10th floor which is not the most accommodating for dogs. Room service left something to be desired. Not high on our return visit list.

The hotel is in a great location right in downtown and was clean and felt luxurious.
We chose this hotel however because not only is it large dog friendly, they seemed to offer a wide variety of pet services and catered to pet owners. We were provided with a dog bed and food bowl (just 1), and just a pamphlet with phone numbers of pet companies in the city. Maybe we were misinformed about what this place offered but we asked about pet sitting services and they just said yea there are places that do that in this city... of course there are, we came here because we thought you offered that service! So it was on us to find and set up last minute pet sitting accommodations. The company they have on their pamphlet is clearly no longer a pet sitting company (the woman who picked up after 3 calls asked if she could call me back when I inquired about her services. Never heard back from her.
Overall it was a nice place but from a pet perspective, this is not the dog all inclusive place we were expecting.

We’ve stayed here at least 4 times with our 2 dogs and can’t say enough about how much we love the dog friendly atmosphere. Just returned from an afternoon of sightseeing to find brand new dog bowls, duck jerky, poop bags and biscuits waiting by the door. Needless to say...a lasting impression ! Oh the human complimentary wine hour and amazing beds are always a plus, but Kimpton...you got to my heart through my dogs. Well done!!!
