Description
Halfway between Omaha and Lincoln sites this beautiful state park. The campground is set in an area with views of the Platte river and offers a wide array of accommodation options, from cabins to tepees, campsites, and group meeting areas. Tepees accommodate six to eight and have wooden floors. There are both camping and fully-equipped housekeeping cabins. The campground also has meeting lodges and a restaurant which is set on the shores of the river.

We've camped at Platte River several times! Their cabins require a pet fee, but not their RV sites. We've only stayed at their one glamping cabin which was very nice but we've RV'ed there several times. The RV area has a dog park, children's playground and stand-alone bathrooms. There are both back-in and pull-through sites. We love bringing our dog with us to Platte River!
