Dogs are allowed at Hillsborough River State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle, and properly cleaned up after. Description
Hillsborough River State Park Campground, brimming with both beauty and history, is one of Florida's oldest state parks. You can take a stroll through the hammocks of live oak, hickory, sabal palm, and magnolia that border the river. If time travel is on your agenda, step back to the 1830s courtesy of Fort Foster Historic Site, a reconstructed Second Seminole War Fort.
