Description
Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA is located in the heart of Civil War country, just 65 miles from the nation's capital. The Appalachian Trail and the C&O Canal both run through town, just 2 miles away, and are great for walking Fido. The campground boasts 280 sites, 42 Kabins and Lodges, a 300-person conference center, indoor basketball court, game room with pool tables, movie theater, pizzeria, large heated swimming pool, wading pool, giant outdoor checker/chess set and a new Jumping Pillow! There are pancake breakfasts and planned activites on weekends in season, and even a ceremonial cannon firing at KOA's Civil War Reenactment Museum.
